How does meal scaling work?
Existing-meal scaling multiplies raw weight, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and calories by one common factor. The factor is the selected target divided by the meal's current value for that nutrient. Because every value changes proportionally, scaling can hit one target exactly but cannot change the meal's underlying macro ratio.
How does the two-ingredient solver work?
The solver uses two simultaneous equations to find ingredient weights that meet protein and carbohydrate targets. It reports when the entered foods cannot produce a non-negative solution. Fat and calories are then calculated from the solved ingredient weights.
How does the barbell plate loader work?
The plate loader subtracts bar and collar weight from the target, divides the remaining load equally between both sleeves, and selects available plate pairs from largest to smallest. If inventory cannot make the target exactly, it displays the closest load below the target and reports the unresolved remainder.
Should plate labels be trusted over measured weight?
Competition plates follow tight tolerances, while general gym plates can vary. Confirm bar, collar, and plate specifications when exact loading matters, and use appropriate spotters and lifting safety practices.
